1-800-PACK-RAT “Chamber Door” launches first on-site solution for restoration industry

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Raleigh, NC, March 16th— 1-800-PACK-RAT announced the first deployments of their recently developed “Chamber Door”.  The Chamber Door allows the Restoration Industry, for the first time, to provide onsite Ozone, Hydroxyl, and Dehumidification treatments.

1-800-PACK-RAT recently completed development and testing of the new door with their portable storage containers.  This door was designed for the Flood and Fire Damage Restoration industry.  The name “Chamber Door” refers to the standard use of Environmental Chambers for treatments such as dehumidification on items affected by fire, flooding, smoke and mold.

“The ability to provide treatments to smoke and water damaged items onsite is a significant change in the industry,” said James Burati, Director of Business Development for
1-800-PACK-RAT. “Removing the logistics of transporting items to and from off-site treatment facility can dramatically reduce the processing time and limit the risk of further damaging items.”

The Chamber Door includes specialized ducts and outlets that are compatible with most industry dehumidifiers, hydroxyl, and ozone extensions.  This treatment is made possible by
1-800-PACK-RAT “Barn Style” doors that open out, rather than the competitive standard “roll-up” doors.

“We’ve been partnering with  industry professionals for years.  We began developing this door in response to continued requests to use our portable storage containers for more than just storing affected inventory. They needed a new solution to treat the items on-site,”  - said Burati.   “We have already successfully deployed the Chamber Door in five of our markets already.”

The Chamber Doors are now available for on-site rental and delivery.

For questions about the Chamber Door, contact James Burati at (240) 216-3010, jburati@1800packrat.com or go to www.1800packrat.com/About/chamberdoor
