Saving Money Using Self Service Movers
When you have to move there are a variety of ways you can do it. If you are moving to a different state, and need to hire a company to help, you pretty much have to hire a cross country moving company. Cross country moving companies, or interstate moving companies as they are also known, are the only movers licensed to carry property across state lines. If you’re staying in state you can hire a regular household moving company. They can come in wrap, pack, load transport, unload and unpack all of your good if you choose. This can be expensive so people often decide to do the packing themselves and have the mover load, transport and unload only.
However, there are many situations where these two options can be replaced with self service movers, or discount movers as they are known. Self service movers are companies that work with you to enable you to do as much of the labor of moving and charge you only for the transportation.
The way it works is simple and convenient. It is almost always the cheapest way you can move too. Employing self service movers involves the use of storage and moving. When you hire self service movers they drop portable storage units at your present location. You wrap your stuff, pack it, and load it into the unit. You will also have selected a date on which the self service movers will come over, pick up the portable storage containers and take them to your new place. The containers will be dropped off and you unload it. When it’s empty the self service movers come and pick it up.
Working with self service movers is easy and efficient. It is ordinarily the least expensive type of move.
